Thanksgiving Plate Your Style and $100 Giveaway

The holidays have arrived and I am a sucker for setting a festive table. There is something about hosting family or friends that just makes me happy. Growing up my mom always made things beautiful and entertained in style. We were also the type of family that sat around the dinner table for hours talking and laughing so for me, it just feels right. When Kirkland’s invited me to take part in Plate My Style I immediately jumped in as I knew it would be fun to shop for my fall tablescape. While I hit up the local store, they are a great online source for affordable décor items. My sweet kiddos helped me shop and this is what we came up with

 

 

The gold chargers and gold tray are a nice addition to my entertaining collection. I also love the pearlized acorns that are in my rope vases. You can see how I made those here. I cut a few greens from the yard to add some color.

My go to look lately is using a table cloth as a super wider runner. I like having just the edges of the table show.

These fun feather ornaments are a nice contrast to the sparkly mercury glass candle holders. I can’t wait to fill the candle holders with fun Christmas candy throughout the season as well.

The burlap acorns are actually ornaments but work so well as place card holders!
