Favorite Projects of 2012

One of my favorite parts of approaching a new year, is reflecting upon the one that is coming to an end. While I intend to do much soul searching and goal setting as I try to do each year, I also enjoy looking back at ways in which I have been productive. I think we all feel a sense of accomplishment by checking things off of our lists. It somehow allows us to feel a sense of control over our daily lives. There is no denying I love a good project and often get sucked into them. Whether they were little or large, here is a look back at some of my finished projects from 2012. It means so very much to me and I am thankful to each and every one of you. I am excited for the year ahead and all that I have planned for A Thoughtful Place. Happy New Year to you and your families. c h e e r s !

Such great ideas! I love the fabric-lined shelves. I'm going to try and figure out how to modify this for the built-ins in my family room. Don't think I can use a glue gun directly onto the wall. Looking forward to more ideas in the new year!

I am so in love with the first picture that I had to save it as one of my "things I loooove" for when I finally get to purchase my first home and figure out what my style is. Thanks for being so inspirational! Have a wonderful new year :)

I've stopped over at your blog before but never really spent much time reading your older posts until this morning! I became a follower because I love all your posts from last year and am looking forward to your new posts this year. My favorite was the gold frames! Just pinned it! Happy New Year!

You were very productive. I did the same thing this year – looked backward – and saw that I had actually achieved a lot. As soon as I post my comment I am heading to your post on the rope vases. Love them.

You have gorgeous taste and do everything with such style and class. Fun to look at your re-cap. Your striped dresser is one of my favorites. Happy New Year to you and your family Courtney. XO

Your projects are amongst the prettiest out there, but what I love most is your ability to do them on such a great budget, and your eye for transforming the typical into amazing. You did so many lovely things this past year!

    Love you!
