Take 5: Steppin’ up in Style

First off, I just want to thank all of you who left such heartfelt comments on the post about taking off the training wheels. I rarely write from such a personal place so to know that it spoke to some of you really made me so very happy. And thank you to those who took the time to email me about their own personal journeys. Last week I mentioned that I was bringing back the “Take 5” series and I was thrilled to find out that so many of you were on board as well. I plan to show you some of my own quick and easy projects as well as highlight reader projects. So I am kicking it off this week with a fantastic staircase makeover created by Heather from the blog home with heather. Heather and I have a great deal in common. We both loved striped walls, organizing, decorating and we both were fifth grade teachers. ………………………………..in this house we are real   I think these stairs are amazing. I love the sentiment and the personal touch. I am just wishing I had the right type of stairs to do this project on. Sadly,  will be living with carpeted stairs for quite some time. If you hop on over to Heather’s blog, she can show you how to achieve a similar look. She also has more inspiration photos if you are looking for ideas to add some sass to your step! If you would like to share an idea for a relatively quick project with my readers, shoot me an email at athoughtfulplaceblog@gmail.com with “take 5” in the subject. I look forward to seeing what you have been up to! Quick and Easy Projects

This is a great idea! I don't have an indoor staircase, otherwise I would definitely try this project. What a fun and unique way to display this saying.

This is such a great idea for the staircase and a great personal touch within a home..are these just vinyl stickers or they are some sort of stencil work?
